The Evergreen QSA9 is a compression seal sized for 1/2 in. EMT or rigid electrical conduit passing through a kitchen exhaust hood or duct wall, used where a fire suppression system's conduit -- rather than its agent piping -- needs a liquid-tight penetration. Tightening the seal's compression nut clamps a gasket around the conduit, closing the hole against grease and moisture without field welding.
