The Faraday 8715 is an addressable audible base that combines a polarity-insensitive X1 Series detector base with a built-in piezo-electric audible device, giving 8710, 8712, and 8713 addressable detectors localized sound annunciation without a separate horn or bell. A jumper at the terminal block selects between a steady tone and a temporal pattern, and the base produces at least 85 dB at 10 feet to meet UL 217 audibility requirements for sleeping areas.
