The Faraday (Siemens) ST-CMC-CW-MNS-ALERT is a ceiling-mounted, multi-candela clear strobe built for mass notification system (MNS) applications, supplementing standard fire alarm notification with a visual signal reserved for non-fire emergency messages. Like its wall-mount counterpart (ST-CMC-W-MNS-ALERT), the word "ALERT" is molded into the round faceplate around the strobe lens to visually distinguish it from red "FIRE"-labeled ceiling strobes on the same circuit.
