The Federal Signal AM70CK is a SelecTone Connector Kit that provides a transformer-coupled interface between a Federal Signal SelecTone audio amplifier and an amplified speaker, letting 1 Vrms SelecTone speaker/amplifiers operate on a standard 70 Vrms public address circuit. It plugs directly into a card-edge connector with no external power required, converting and conditioning the incoming audio signal to the input level the amplified speaker (Models 50GC, 300, 300GC, 300GCX, and 300X) expects and creating a true balanced-line audio system that filters out extraneous line noise.
