The Gentex AVSM-R is a red synchronization control module that lets a single pair of field wires drive synchronized Gentex strobes and horns from one fire alarm circuit. It takes separate signal inputs from the panel's strobe and horn circuits and combines them into one supervised output, flashing all connected strobes at the code-required 1 Hz rate and sounding horns in the Temporal 3 pattern, while still allowing the panel to silence the audible signal without interrupting the strobe flash.
