The Gentex GSB-W is a surface back box that provides a clean mounting solution for GE and GE3 series horns, strobes, and horn/strobes where a device can't be recessed into the wall. It installs quickly with concealed screw heads for a finished appearance, and its off-white finish is meant to blend in on ceilings and walls alongside the appliance it supports. The box simply extends the mounting depth of the notification appliance rather than adding any electrical function of its own.
