The Gentex H (120-H) is a 120VAC, 60Hz heat alarm built for kitchens, garages, and furnace rooms where smoke detection isn't practical. It uses a dual-action sensor -- a 135°F fixed-temperature element plus a 15°F-per-minute rate-of-rise element -- to catch both slow and fast-developing fires, sounding an 85 dBA Temporal 3 signal and interconnecting with up to 12 Gentex smoke alarms and 6 heat alarms so the whole system responds together.
