It sounds a Temporal 3 pattern for smoke and a Temporal 4 pattern for CO through an 85 dBA, 3100 Hz horn, and keeps an 8-hour memory of the alarm event along with a 10-year end-of-life indicator so occupants know when the unit needs replacement.
