The Gentex SCRR is a combination smoke and carbon monoxide (CO) alarm from the SC Series, designed for use in various residential and commercial settings, including homes, apartments, hospitals, hotels, and motels. This device integrates advanced sensing technologies to provide reliable detection of both smoke and CO, ensuring comprehensive safety.

• Multi-Criteria Smoke Sensing: Employs photoelectric light scattering technology to detect smoke particles, enhancing sensitivity and reducing false alarms.

• Electrochemical CO Sensor: Utilizes an electrochemical sensor for accurate detection of carbon monoxide, a colorless and odorless gas.

• Dual Form A/Form C Relay Contacts: Equipped with two sets of Form A/Form C dry contacts that activate during smoke and/or CO events, allowing for remote annunciation or activation of auxiliary devices.

• Temporal Evacuation Signals: Features a Temporal 3 evacuation signal pattern for smoke and heat annunciation and a Temporal 4 signal pattern for CO annunciation, ensuring clear and distinct alerts.

• 85 dBA Piezo Horn: Provides a loud audible alert to occupants during an alarm condition.

• 10-Year End-of-Life Indicator: Includes a 10-year end-of-life signal to notify users when the device needs replacement.

• Battery Backup: Comes with a 9V alkaline battery to ensure operation during power outages.

• Interconnectivity: Can be interconnected with other Gentex tandem-capable smoke alarms for synchronized alerts throughout a building.
