The Gentex STRR is a 120VAC wall-mount smoke alarm that combines photoelectric smoke detection with an integral 177 candela xenon strobe and a Form C relay output, built for hearing-impaired notification in residential and commercial sleeping areas. Its red faceplate with red "FIRE" lettering houses a high-intensity strobe that meets ADA visual-signaling requirements, while the internal relay lets the unit trigger auxiliary devices such as a magnetic door release or security panel input the moment smoke is detected.
