The Globe Technologies G500ML is a 500°F (260°C) rated ML-style fusible link, a mechanical heat-activated device that separates at its rated temperature to release fire dampers, doors, or suppression system components. Its stainless steel construction resists corrosion in the ducts and hoods where these links are typically installed, and a flexible eye-hook connection lets it take up the load from the linkage on either side without binding. The high 500°F rating suits applications with elevated ambient heat where a lower-rated link would trip prematurely.
