The Hochiki ALO-V is a UL 268 7th Edition listed photoelectric smoke detector that uses multi-spectrum smoke categorization technology to identify both smoldering and flaming fire signatures while reducing nuisance alarms from steam, dust, and cooking aerosols. Its optical particulate identification is suited to open-area coverage as well as HVAC duct applications, and a 360-degree LED gives clear local alarm indication from any viewing angle.
