The Hochiki DCD-190 is a fixed-temperature/rate-of-rise heat detector aimed at spaces where high-heat-output fires are likely, or where environmental conditions (steam, dust, exhaust) rule out smoke detection. It is intended for property-protection applications and must be supervised by a UL listed fire alarm control panel to operate correctly.
