The Hochiki DCP-AMS-KL-LP is the key-lock variant of Hochiki's addressable DCP-AMS pull station line, using a Cat 30 key rather than a plain hex key to reset the station after activation. Like its siblings on the DCP signaling line circuit (SLC), it electronically addresses its own alarm point and confirms status through a bi-colored LED that flashes green in normal operation and latches red once the handle is pulled. The dual-action "lift and pull" design common to the KL models adds a deliberate cover-lift step before the handle can be pulled, reducing accidental activations compared to a single-action station.
