The Hochiki HCA-RA is a remote annunciator that mirrors the full control panel interface of an HCA Series conventional panel, letting building staff monitor and operate the system from a second location without walking to the main panel. It connects over the panel's slave RS-485 port and reproduces the panel's 32-character LCD display (2 lines x 16 characters) along with its navigation buttons, LED indicators for Fire, Supervisory Alarm, Trouble, AC Power, and Silence, and a local piezo sounder for audible events. Access is protected by user passwords or a firefighter enable key, and the unit installs either flush or surface mounted without needing a separate trim ring.
