The Hochiki HPS-CP is a conventional break-glass call point aimed at schools, hospitals, and public assembly spaces where accidental or malicious false alarms are a concern. Rather than a simple lever pull, it requires the user to break a Factrolite glass plate to release a spring-loaded plunger switch, adding a deliberate "double action" of intent before the alarm circuit trips.
