The Hochiki HSC-4R/12 is a 6-inch, 4-wire conventional detector base with a relay output, built to run on a 12 VDC supply rather than the more common 24 VDC. The relay output gives the installer a local switched signal for auxiliary functions, such as driving a remote indicator or shutting down connected equipment, alongside standard detection.
