The Hochiki NS4-100 is a 4-inch, electronics-free conventional detector base equipped with a resistor for proper circuit supervision and a plastic tamper-lock lug to hold the detector head. It shares its mounting footprint and electrical interface with the rest of Hochiki's NS4/NS6/HSC base family, so it drops into existing junction boxes without any rewiring of the detection loop.
