The Hochiki NS4-220 is a 4-inch, electronics-free conventional detector base factory-fitted with a resistor for circuit supervision and a plastic tamper-lock lug to secure the detector head. Where relay functionality is needed instead of a plain base, the related 6-inch HSC-220R, HSC-221R, and HSC-224R bases in the same product line add two sets of Form "C" relay contacts and a latching alarm LED for expanded control and signaling.
