The Hochiki NS6-224 is a 6-inch, electronics-free detector base for conventional (non-addressable) fire alarm systems, built around a plastic tamper-lock lug and an integrated resistor that keeps the circuit properly supervised. It's the mounting base behind the HSC-220R, HSC-221R, and HSC-224R families, matched to Hochiki conventional detectors such as the SLR-24H, SLR-24V, SLV-24, SLV-24N, SLV-24V, SLR-835, SLR-835H, and DCD-135/190, and it's also approved for legacy DFE 135/190 detectors. The (X)R variants add two sets of Form C relay contacts on the base itself, giving the installer extra control or signaling options without adding a separate module.
