The Hochiki SCI is a short-circuit isolator module built into a standard 4-inch mounting box for Hochiki addressable fire alarm signaling line circuits (SLC). It monitors the loop for a wire-to-wire short and automatically isolates the affected segment, so a single cable fault only takes out the devices between two isolators instead of the entire loop.
