The Kidde 0915E (also sold as model i9050) is a battery-only ionization smoke alarm powered by a single 9V battery, giving continuous fire detection coverage even during a power outage. It uses ionization sensing for fast response to flaming fires and includes a single test button that checks the horn, alarm circuitry, and battery together.
