The Kidde-Fenwal 28021-5-725 is a vertical-mount Detect-A-Fire heat detector set to a 725°F fixed-temperature rating, built with a stainless-steel coupling head and normally-open contacts hermetically sealed inside the housing. Its rate-compensation design tracks the surrounding air temperature so the detector responds promptly to a genuine fire condition while resisting false trips from routine ambient heat swings.
