The Kidde EGCVHWN is a ceiling-mounted visual notification strobe from the Genesis appliance platform, built to cover larger rooms and higher ceilings in commercial fire alarm installations. It's finished in white with a plain, unmarked lens cover (no "FIRE" text) and outputs 135-185 candela, putting it a step above Kidde's standard-output ceiling strobes for spaces where a single higher-intensity unit is preferable to adding a second device. As with other Genesis ceiling appliances, it mounts to a room-side wiring plate that installers can pre-wire before the strobe head snaps into place, and the lens cover itself can be swapped later without disturbing the wiring behind it.
