The Kidde-Fenwal 27121-20-450 is a Detect-A-Fire rate-compensated heat detector with a stainless steel head that closes at 450°F, used to activate fire suppression systems such as clean agent, CO2, inert gas, wet chemical, dry chemical, or water-based systems. Rate compensation lets it sense the true surrounding air temperature accurately, regardless of how quickly a fire is growing.
