The Kidde GSA-MAB is a plug-in Universal Class A/B module for Kidde's Signature Series intelligent addressable fire alarm system, gathering analog information from connected slave devices and converting it to a digital signal for the loop controller. Its actual behavior is set by a "personality code" the installer selects and downloads to the module from the Signature loop controller, so the same module can be configured for different Class A or Class B monitoring roles.
