Kidde GSA-PS
Out of stock; call for lead time
The Kidde GSA-PS is a Signature Series intelligent photoelectric smoke detector head that reports analog smoke-density data back to the loop controller rather than making a local alarm decision, letting the panel apply drift compensation and sensitivity scheduling. An onboard microprocessor runs continuous self-diagnostics and stores the results in non-volatile memory for maintenance reporting.
Key Features
- Intelligent, analog addressable photoelectric sensing element
- Continuous self-diagnostic checks with results stored in onboard non-volatile memory
- Device mapping lets the loop controller confirm each detector's programmed location, preventing an undetected address swap
- Communicates with the loop controller only when it has new status to report, reducing loop traffic
Technical Specifications
- Detector type: intelligent (addressable) photoelectric smoke sensor head, Signature Series
- Status: discontinued, replaced by the KI-OSD in current Kidde/Carrier lineups
Certifications
- UL Listed intelligent smoke detector
