The Kidde KI-HDT is a battery-operated handheld diagnostic tool used to initialize, test, and troubleshoot Signature Series signaling line circuits (SLC) and their connected devices. Technicians use it in the field to manipulate, test, and monitor loop devices with live, real-time data through a bright touchscreen interface. It is well suited for commissioning new projects, troubleshooting existing installations, or verifying retrofits, either before a loop is connected to a control panel or afterward for diagnosis.
