The Kidde KI-HRD is an intelligent addressable heat detector combining fixed-temperature and rate-of-rise detection for fire alarm systems. It monitors air temperature through an advanced thermistor sensor and provides dual-mode alarm capability, triggering when temperature exceeds 135°F or rises faster than 15°F per minute. This dual detection method ensures reliable identification of both slow-smoldering and rapidly developing fires.
