The Mircom CR-135-2 is a combination rate-of-rise and fixed-temperature heat detector from Mircom's CR-135 Series, built with dual normally open contacts for redundant alarm signaling. It's intended for areas where rapid ceiling temperature increases aren't expected in normal operation, such as dwelling units, storage areas, electrical closets, and material storage rooms.
Key Features
- Combination rate-of-rise and fixed-temperature detection in one device
- Dual normally open (N/O) contacts for redundant circuit connections
- Rate-of-rise contacts close when ceiling temperature rises at a minimum of 15°F (8.4°C) per minute
- Fixed-temperature element uses a spring-loaded plunger held by a fusible alloy that releases at 135°F (57°C)
Technical Specifications
- Rate-of-rise activation: minimum 15°F (8.4°C) per minute temperature increase
- Fixed-temperature activation: 135°F (57°C)
- Contact configuration: dual N/O
