The Mircom MIX-M502MAP is a zone interface (monitor) module that lets Mircom's intelligent addressable fire alarm panels supervise a zone of compatible two-wire, 24-volt conventional smoke detectors. It reports the status of the monitored zone back to the panel as normal, open, or alarm, bridging conventional detection circuits into an addressable system.
Key Features
- Monitors and supervises one zone of two-wire, 24V conventional smoke detectors
- Supports both Style D (Class A) and Style B (Class B) circuit wiring
- Reports zone status to the panel as normal, open, or alarm
- Mounts directly to a standard 4-inch square electrical box
Technical Specifications
- Normal operating voltage: 15 to 32 VDC
- Maximum alarm current: 5.1 mA (LED on)
- Average operating current: 400 µA, with one communication and one LED flash every 5 seconds
- End-of-line (EOL) resistance: 3.9K ohms
- Requires a minimum 2-1/8" deep electrical box
Certifications
- Requires UL or ULC compatible two-wire detectors for the monitored circuit
