The GF3000-DSM/MBS is a Schlage Electronics (Locknetics) mortise-mounted electromagnetic shear lock built to hold a door closed until a connected fire alarm or access control system releases it. It combines a Door Status Monitor (DSM) that reports whether the door is open or closed with a Magnetic Bond Sensor (MBS) that confirms the lock has actually achieved a full magnetic bond, so the fire alarm or security panel can supervise the door's real locked state instead of assuming it from applied power alone.
