Potter Electric Signal PAD300-DUCTR

The Potter PAD300-DUCTR is an analog addressable duct smoke detector built to meet local codes and NFPA requirements for HVAC duct installations. It uses a two-tube air sampling method: a supplied 7-inch exhaust tube and a selectable intake sampling tube (available in 2.5 ft., 5 ft., or 10 ft. lengths, trimmable to fit the duct) draw air from inside the duct so the sensor can detect smoke without being mounted directly in the airstream. The unit mounts to the duct using a template and two sheet-metal screws, and it communicates back to the panel over the SLC without requiring removal of the detector head for service.
