The Protectowire SR-502-N is a watertight, oil-tight strain relief connector used to terminate Protectowire linear heat detector cable into a junction box, sealing the cable entry point and relieving strain on the two internal conductors where they transition to copper field wiring. The "N" designates the non-metallic (nylon) body, used in place of the standard metallic SR-502 where a non-conductive fitting is preferred.
