The Pyrochem 551652 is an NV-P1 discharge nozzle with protective cap, used in the overhead plenum area of a Pyrochem restaurant kitchen fire suppression system. During a system discharge, wet chemical agent is released through the nozzle to blanket the plenum space above the cooking line; the snap-on cap keeps grease and airborne debris out of the nozzle orifice during normal kitchen operation and is designed to blow off cleanly when the system actuates.
