The Rixson 997TRI689 is a wall-mounted electromagnetic door holder/release built to tri-voltage input (120 VAC, 24 VAC/DC, or 12 VDC) so one part number covers multiple building power configurations. It holds a fire/smoke barrier door open in normal operation and releases it automatically when tied into the building's fire alarm system, letting the door swing closed under its own closer once a smoke detector or alarm signal interrupts holding power.
