Siemens (Pyro) FPT-11-RC

The Siemens (Pyro) FPT-11-RC is a reconditioned, plug-in intelligent thermal (heat) detector that reports analog data back to the panel over the Siemens CLIP protocol rather than issuing a simple alarm/no-alarm contact. In its default mode it combines a 135°F fixed-temperature element with a 15°F-per-minute rate-of-rise algorithm, and it can be reprogrammed from the control panel to run as fixed-temperature only, without rate-of-rise, when the application calls for it. It uses a solid-state thermistor sensing element rather than a mechanical bimetallic strip, which reduces thermal lag compared to older heat detectors, and mounts to the Siemens DB-11 base.
