The Siemens (Cerberus Pyrotronics) FT-302 is a remote firefighters' telephone station for use with the Fire Safety MXLV Emergency Voice Alarm/Communication System, pairing a red-enamel steel cradle and switch-hook with a red high-impact plastic handset on a retractable coil cord. Lifting the handset from its cradle generates a distinct zone call-in signal at the command console, and the FT-302 adds a Push-to-Talk button in the handset that its base FT-301 does not have.
