The Siemens (Pyrotronics) ICP-B6 is an intelligent control point used within Siemens MXL/MXLV analog fire alarm systems. It communicates over the system's analog loop and can be configured as a remotely located telephone zone, a speaker zone (25V or 70.7V RMS), or a notification appliance circuit, giving designers flexibility for controlling auxiliary equipment such as door holders, HVAC shutdown, or elevator recall from a single addressable point. It is commonly used in large facilities such as hospitals, schools, airports, and government buildings where multiple independently supervised control points are needed.
