The Siemens (Cerberus Pyrotronics) RC-30U is a confirmation module used in System 3 fire alarm installations to cut down false alarm dispatches from single-event nuisance conditions. Rather than reporting on the first sensed alarm condition, the RC-30U logs that first event and only passes an alarm signal to the panel once the same initiating device alarms a second time, confirming a real event before it reaches the panel.
