The Siemens TRI-D is a dual-input addressable interface module that monitors two separate normally-open dry contacts, such as a waterflow switch and its companion valve tamper switch, from a single device body. Because it reports two independent points, the TRI-D consumes two addresses on the signaling line circuit, each set electronically with a Siemens DPU or FPI-32 programmer rather than by hand switches.
