The Siemens XMI (part 500-034870) is an MXL interface card for FireFinder XLS fire alarm control panels, letting an XLS chassis drive a legacy MXL-protocol device loop. It installs into a MOM-2 module position in the rear of a CAB-1, CAB-2 or CAB-3 cabinet and presents an MXL-format device loop on its terminals, so existing MXL detectors and modules can be re-terminated onto an XLS panel without replacing the field devices.
