The Siemens (Pyrotronics) AD-11UK is a Series 11 air duct update kit that lets a technician retrofit an existing Series 3 duct detector housing (AD-3P, AD-3ILP, or SA-3P) to accept a newer Series 11 detector head. The kit pairs a DB-ADPT detector/base adapter with the DA-304 air duct cover, so the Series 11 sensor interfaces correctly with the previously installed DB-3S base without replacing the whole duct housing.
