The Siemens (Pyrotronics) ASC-1 is an Amplifier Supervisory Card for the Cerberus Pyrotronics MXL/MXLV emergency voice/fire alarm system, monitoring the primary audio amplifier(s) and automatically switching to a backup amplifier if a fault is detected.
Key Features
- Amplifier supervisory card for the MXL/MXLV fire alarm and voice evacuation system
- Supervises up to three primary amplifiers, and optionally one backup amplifier
- Monitors amplifier input/output for proper audio level and annunciates a system fault if a primary amplifier fails
- Automatically transfers operation to the backup amplifier when supplied
- Plugs into one slot of the OMM-1 cardcage; occupies one OCC-1 module subaddress
