The Siemens (Pyrotronics) NET-7 is a Style 7 communication interface module used to connect a main Siemens/Cerberus Pyrotronics MXL fire alarm control panel to multiple remote panels over two separately supervised RS-485 network pairs.
Key Features
- Style 7 (or Style 4, jumper-selectable) communication interface for MXL fire alarm networks
- Electrically isolates each network pair and confines ground faults to a single panel
- Automatically detects installed modules in its enclosure and reports to the MMB
- Yellow LEDs indicate transmission/trouble; green LEDs show pair activity and selection status
Technical Specifications
- Maximum of 32 NET-7 modules per MXL system
- Address set via switch S1, must match CSG M network mapping
- Mounts in the PSR-1 (P7) or MOM-4 slot of the enclosure housing the MMB
- End-of-line resistors required at both ends of each network pair
- NET-7 and NET-4 modules cannot coexist in the same system
