The Siemens (Cerberus Pyrotronics) PE-3 is a photoelectric smoke detector that uses the light-scattering principle in a field-cleanable photo chamber, giving it strong immunity to nuisance alarms from dust and condensation. It's designed to mount on a DB-3S surface base or an ADB-3 audible base and responds to a broad range of both flaming and smoldering fire conditions.
