The Siemens (Pyrotronics) TRI-B6 is an intelligent, addressable interface module that monitors a single normally open or normally closed dry contact and reports its status to the fire alarm control panel over the loop. Unlike its TRI-B6R sibling, the base TRI-B6 is monitor-only — it has no onboard relay — so it's used purely to bring a third-party dry-contact device (a damper end-switch, tamper switch, etc.) onto the addressable loop for supervision.
