The Silent Knight 5499-RC is a 9-amp notification power expander that supplies its own AC power connection, battery charging circuit, and backup battery capacity for fire and security panels with 9-32VDC outputs. Its switch-mode power supply design delivers up to 50% greater efficiency than comparable linear power supplies, making it a cost-effective way to add ADA-compliant notification appliance power to existing systems. A built-in ANSI cadence pattern lets it upgrade older control panels that lack native cadence capability.
