The 5883 Silent Knight Relay Interface Board provides ten general-purpose Form C relays designed for controlling auxiliary devices that require a dry contact closure. Common applications include voice evacuation systems, elevator recall, and HVAC fan shutdown. Each relay is activated through an open-collector input from a controlling device, such as the 5880 LED Driver Module, allowing individualized control of connected equipment. Rated at 5.0A at 30 VDC or 250 VAC (resistive) , the relays support a wide range of fire and life-safety functions. The 5883 is housed in a durable, lockable metal cabinet that provides protection, wiring space, and restricted access for authorized personnel only. Fully UL 864 listed , the module integrates seamlessly with Silent Knight addressable fire alarm control panels.
