The Silent Knight IDP-ION is a plug-in ionization smoke detector built on a single-source, dual-chamber sensing design for fast alarm response. It seats into a compatible IDP-series detector base and communicates over Silent Knight's Intelligent Device Protocol (IDP) to an IFP-series fire alarm control panel, which continuously monitors and can remotely adjust the detector's sensitivity.
